Interesting life form. I only trust those at the grocery store. Basic gastrointestinal chicken here.

Must be the butter, salt and pepper did the trick...cause I survived without a bout of dysentery. We've got a bigger section to fry up again tonight, I was the guinea pig last night lol. It had kind of a mild buttery flavor and chewy, not in a bad way. But maybe it was just under-cooked in butter
Kinda fun tbh....I think I'd like to scope out some more in the next few weeks before it gets too cold....

Good to hear from you! LOL I was watching Rick & Morty the other night. Rick made Morty taste his dinner and asked him if it tasted "poison-y". I definitely am seeing a similarity in the situation here! LOL

jasoninsd Yea, she had it timed to be ready at 6 hours to run me if needed lol amygdule Thanks. Funny you mention that article, she was reading that on her feed this morning too. I've had food poisoning twice and I imagine it's something like that when things go wrong. I tried to do my homework yesterday and if I was really unsure, it was a not happening. We ended up tossing another we were going to try.

The bright yellow ones look like slime mold, which is a single-celled animal and not a fungus. We occasionally find one on our property if we have had moist, rainy weather.

Amazing photos and glad you survived. A woman was charged with three counts of murder a couple of years ago when she served her guests death cap mushrooms. Only one of her four guests survived (after a liver transplant). Gotta be careful with fungi.
Slime moulds are smart!
