I absolutely did not gremlin through our gravel yard for rocks to tumble while I wait for my shipment of amethyst to arrive. Not me, no sir!
A few that I did not snitch:

Somebody abandoned a Pickup truck on the road in front of my house. I noticed about 50 pounds of rocks laying in the bed of it. Went through it all and found about 10 rocks that should polish up really good before I called a Tow truck to come and get it.

That’s insane but there’s a working quarry that has crazy lace blues and greys and they crush it for driveway gravel. 🤷♀️ They let ppl come on Sundays and collect no charge since it’s just gonna be crushed anyways.

Welcome from Wittmann. When we bought our house the acre was graveled with mostly 1" minus drain rock, and while I was scraping it up in a pile with a rented skid steer the wife was looking through it, found a thing or two. There are quarries everywhere around the valley, hard to say where stuff comes from. I wonder about the ones up around lake Pleasant, there's some good hounding on the surface just about everywhere out there, so if they're digging it out there might be real good stuff.

Those are amazing driveway rocks. Consider yourself lucky! Looks like mostly quartz maybe with some feldspar. But finding amethyst too? Jackpot!!
