I have a gentleman who wants me to make a necklace like Moana’s for his 2 year old daughter (who is the CUTEST little bean) and he really likes Blue Apatite as the base stone, which I haven’t tumbled yet but I’m determined to get this done in time for Christmas. Do any of y’all have advice for tumbling Apatite? I know it’s a softer stone so I’ll need a good deal of cushioning, I just did a batch of fluorite that came out well using the rotary tumbler for 200, 500, and 1000 grit and then the vibratory with dry polish media - I’m hoping Apatite will take to the same process.
Please let me know if you’ve got any experience with it to share with me!
