Rallyrocks was kind enough to loan me his preformer attachment so I could see if it was worth all the hassle I've been going through to try and purchase one. And not only that, but also drove the 50 miles or so to deliver it to boot. So I invited Tony and Cal over so they could meet him in person also. Cal couldn't make it but Tony came over and we chatted about rocks and had a good time. Here's the rocks that Rally brought for me. agate he collected from Nevada Something from Clear Creek Ca, probably serpentine, though it is pretty hard A football sized chunk of red jasper he collected in Northern Calif. I'll be sending him a bunch of slabs off this baby. And when Tony arrived, he had some slabs of his wonderful jade to give to rally and also this nice slab for me. Thanks guys.

Aw man, sorry for missing the gathering. I was cutting some Kabamby jasper in the morning, and had a box of other stuff loaded in the car. We decided to take a nap before coming over, and we didn't wake up until after four! Ya snooze, ya lose! LOL.
Sounds like you had a great time. Next time, Cal

Consider it your Birthday gift. It is a cool type of stone. I hope the last piece I have has some of the red spots.

Oooo that's really pretty. What a nice green it is and with red makes a great Christmas rock. Did you get to try the preformer yet?
