Good for you Stoner...looks like a warm shiney day. The slabs are really nice, and that Poppy is great! Send some of that Sunshine towards Utah. I froze my "arse" off today. It's not supposed to be snowy and cold in April. Steve

That cab was just the end cut Cher and I had to work with what was there. I've already been scoping out the slabs to see what I can get out them. There's gonna be a lot of nice ones from the slabs.

I never understood all the fuss about graveyard plume... Now I do, that's gorgeous. Thanks Ed. It's been sunny and 80 here for a few days but tomorrow is supposed to be 50. I'm bummed.

Ed, I have to admit I had a smile on my face today after a month and half of straight rain. Its amazing what a little sunshine will do to make you feel happy. Good to see your slab saw is up and running again. Is your side gate unlocked ? I need another couple gallons of Almag oil. Talk to you later. nice slabs B.T.W Tony

The poppy jasper took about 12 minutes to slab. The largest piece is around 5" long. The plume only took a couple of minutes each. This stuff is pretty solid-a few vugs, but no fractures.

Ed that Graveyard plume is awesome! I got some from Banjo that looked just like that it's beautiful stuff - the poppy jasper is nice too, but that plume takes the cake for me!

Yea, I'm really happy with the graveyard plume too. I got it from Stoneage Industries a couple of months ago and just now cut it up. It cabs like a dream.

Ed is it really that blue or is that just like from the background or something. It sure turned out nice for just an end piece.

Wow, I love slab saw weather! I bet your saw was glad to see you too! Those are amazing slabs. They look like root beer. I like the graveyard plume too. I'm with Joe, now I get why people like that rock so much, especially held up to the light. This break in the weather is pretty weird. I've been sick and not doing rocks as a result. Wah! Thanks for posting photos so I can live vicariously through your saw. Steve

Sorry to hear you've been sick Steve. Maybe this nice weather will help you snap out of it. I've liked plume agates ever since I saw the first one Bearcreek posted. Everytime I cut a plume agate cab, I strive to make it as nice as his cabs. Just like when we see a laker we think of Cher, when I see a plume agate, I think of John. And Cher, that's the true color of that cab, the top does have a blueish tinge to it.
