Hey all. A while ago, Tim sent me a beautiful Botswanna that he had polished in his tumbler and asked me if I could do something with it so it would look more like a cab rather than a tumbled stone. Well it sat in front of me here at the computer for well over a month as I pondered whether or not I could help it along any. The stone had such an incredible shine on it and it really was beautiful just the way it sat, I was reluctant to even touch it. Here's how it looked. It's hard to tell from this pic, but it was about 1/2" thick on on end and tapered unevenly to about 1/4" towards the other end. So the other day I started by flattening out the back of the stone and today I got to work on the front and here's what it looks like now. upside down It now measures 30x22mm and has an even dome to the face of it. I sure hope you like it Tim.

Thanks Steve. Here's a not-so-good pic of the cab from an end view. I wound up taking off a lot of material.

Stoner-
Man you're awesome. I had complete faith that you'd do a great job. It is such an awesome stone and I felt a little TLC from Stoner would only enhance it and it looks like you did it!!!!! Can't wait to see 'er in person.

So you finally got around to doing something with it - it turned out nice. The only thing I would change would be the direction. I think the bottom looks better on top but that getting picky. Great job ED
