Hi all. I went back to my local rock shop today and picked up the rest of the red crazy lace they had. Man, this really is some nice stuff. Most other red crazy lace I've ever had has always been pretty soft, but this stuff is pretty solid. I did leave one slab of it there, it was about 1/2" thick and I didn't want to deal with something that thick, especially since I saw there was a chunk that I could cut some slabs off of. 3 slabs and one 2lb chunk Close ups of the slabs Enjoy. Oh yea, the rocks are dry in these pics, so you can imagine what they would look like wet. If you want to look at some cabs of this material, I posted some in the cabs section the other nite.

OH MY GOD!!! That's got to be the nicest Lace agate I have EVER SEEN. It reminds me of the old acid posters of the 60s. I don't want you to cab it but I do want you to cab it. Know what I mean? Extraordinary material. S

Indeed Susan. Very cool pieces Ed. That last photo shows a better grade of the Hematite inclusions like in the Piece Daniel posted in the other thread. However that is a better grade of the inclucions and should polish out good. But not as good as the agate. BUt ive cut ones before that produce excellent metal like plumeage of Hematite. Nice set indeed.
