Merry Christmas all. As much as my wife thinks I'm a bit weird about buying all the rocks I do, she still understands my passion. She went into my local rock shop and introduced herself as being my wife(they know me well there) and asked if there was anything I've been looking at but haven't been able to justify buying, and they pointed out this 11lb chunk of Stone Canyon Jasper that's been sitting in their window. So she bought it and gave it to me for Christmas. Funny thing is, I went in to the shop last week and looked for this chunk and saw it was gone and was disappointed because I was almost to the point of buying it. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box this morning and saw it sitting there. I see a lot of nice cabs to be cut! I guess I'll keep her around for a while, she's the love of my life.

Hey Ed, give your wife a kiss for me! I can think of no one else more deserving of that rock than you. I know you will do it proud!
Merry Christmas! Ron

Thanks everyone and Merry christmas to you all. I don't know what I did to deserve my wife and her entire family, but I sure am thankful for her being there for me. I'll be slabbing this chunk up tomorrow.
