Dan:
Yeah, the memories cane back in torrents. And while my physical limitations didn't allow me to do as much "hunting" as I had hoped, I truly enjoyed the company of the attendees and increased my love of all things rocky by 100 fold. Once again you proved to be multi talented.
My best wishes you and all of the original 14 and to all RTH'ers.
Keep um' rollin.
Pete

Well the 3rd one is where my eye goes because it loks the most scenic. red rocks, brown trees/shrubs, and a yellow sky!

Not exactly a pic. I don't remember seeing anything like this there. But at 1 - 2 cm it could have been easily missed. I would think there could be a larger one hanging around somewhere though. www.mindat.org/photo-107100.htmlI will store it away and keep a eye out next year. Mark

In the spring, Jamie generously sent me some tumbling rough, which was largely WWR material. I've been gradually working it through my tumblers, interspersed with my other batches. I'm finally starting to get some of it out of the coarse grind stage now, including this nice piece I took out today. It's a thin piece, which helps show the moss pattern, and it is shown wet. I think it should take a nice "wet shine" when it eventually is polished. Hope so anyhow. Thought I'd put this pic up as a work in progress . -Don

I'm sure you'll make all the WWR agates look great Don. This piece looks great so far.
