Imagine Homer Simspon slouching back in his chair, tongue hanging out, eyes rolling back, drool cascading from his mouth..."haughhhhhhh". That's me.
Hmmmmm....poppy jaspers!
Picking a favourite? Sorry, no can do!
They must be some of the coolest rocks ever created! WOW!

That is some sweeet stuff there Stoner. I didn't think that poppy jasper came in so many different varieties and patterns. I like the one with the purple in it, and the 4th one from the bottom. I'm sure your going to create some great cabs. Steve

Great slabs! Beautiful colors and patterns! The last three are top 3. I feel a little sorry for them knowing they'll be cabbed, but being cabbed by you is different. I'm sure you'll make some beautiful cabs.

That's some amazing variation, every piece shows a different side of Morgan Hill poppy jasper. The last cut is definitely my favourite. -Don

Ed those are great looking slices. If I am not mistaken it looks like you have some guadalupe in there. Looks like you picked out some real nice ones.

This stuff always amazes me with all the different looks I keep coming across as I cut into the different pieces. Some of the fractures are healed, but there are still a lot that aren't, it's just a fact of life with rocks from this area. Tony, the last time I went down there I found a 5lb chunk that on one end it had the typical Morgan Hill type poppies, and on the other end it was loaded with the Guadalupe type poppies, really cool.

Those colors are out of this world. Poppy jasper is one of the most interesting rocks with it's great variety of colors and formations. That stuff looks amazing for sure and I can't wait to see some of the cabs from it. That first one is my fave with that interesting bue/purple. I also like the last one. Those are some great looking rocks. Good thing I wore a bib. Steve

Crazy patterns, can't wait to see what you do with them. I could follow your lead with the title but refuse to say things like: What happened to the seeds? Where is the field? etc. Great scrore Ed. Spike

Love the variety! It's amazing how a type of rock varies all in one location. Beautiful stuff!
