I can't get the thumbnails to come up on this stupid computer. #4 looks like rhodocrosite -- but the pic is too small.

Sheri: Maybe this will help a bit *L*
#1 looks like orbicular prairie agate from South Dakota
#2 I'm thinking maybe some type of variscite or even one of the green turquoise forms
#3 Aussie chrysoprase
#4 Not good on crystals, maybe a clear sapphire
#5 Looks like one of the crystal forms of opal usually called Hyalite, water opal or jelly opal
#6 Horn coral from Utah
#7 Malachite in quartz
#8 Aussie Tiger iron
#9 Maybe lapis or dumortierite in quartz #10 Sodalite
#11 Mexican Opal. They often call it Fire opal even if it has doesn't have color play. Also call the red orange stuff with no fire, cherry opal.

I think Mels hit most of them... Maybe #1 is some sort of Carneilian #4 Fire Agate without the Fire?? #7 Moss Agate?? Just my non-educated guesses. Looks like you got quite a haul though..Congratz. Steve

If the second to the last one is purple, not blue, then I would sayh sugelite. It even has a fracture just like most of the pieces I have.

WOW! Nice winnings. I recognize a couple but the first one has me stumped. I thought it might be ocean jasper but I'm not sure.

Thank you for all information. What does one usually do with the jelly opal? The second pic really has some awesome fire in it!

I know - I know!!! Number one is petrified frog eggs. If you look close you can see the wee little tadpoles inside them.

The best thing to do with jelly opal is to put it together with peanut obsidian. No, just kidding, send it to me!
