This is a spin off of the mermaids tear contest. I was inspired by all that creative energy and cabbed these stones Small geode a tear of sorrow Chamon stone Tear of Joy it has a rainbow trapped inside and some long needle routiles and some other fun stuff Another Chamon stone Tear of Happiness The chamon stones are hard to photograph. They are three dimensional. The outside is a almost perfectly clear quartz. Inside and on the back edges are stuff. I am not good on the terminology; so any feel free to correct me. What I think they are is type of phantom quartz with manisfestation. I have seen them sold as scenic quartz. All I know for sure is that they are way cool and very mezmorizing. Because you need to look through the stone to get the whole picture I have not figure out how to photo it. I am still trying to get some of that blue Big Sur. I want to make some more tears out of it. Any want to part with some send me a PM.

Amazing cabs! All are pretty to look at here but that third positively looks like a wet tear about to drop and splatter. Simply beautiful.

Cool stuff! The third one is really neat, I'll bet it's amazing in person.

Wow, those are beautiful! Great stones, great cabs! And, I learned about something new to search for; scenic quartz and Chamon stone. Thanks!

Thank you for the nice comments everyone. I have a spelling correction (spelling is not my one of my strong suits) The chamon stones are sold by a local importer as Shamanic Dream Crystals. When we talk he refers to them as Shaman stones. If anyone wants me to pick one up for them next time I go let me know. They are priced by the gram. They come what I call semi finished. Someone in Brazil (country of origin) gives them a dome and an ok shine. I reshape and make the dome higher and give it a better shine; IMHO. I have never found rough whole crystals. I get them wholesale. They are sold by the gram. The ones pictured cost me about 11-14 dollar range dollars. They come fist size and even a little bigger and some a little smaller. Most are a bit bigger. I go every other month and pick through them. All are interesting, but some are really nice. They are the same price per gram; since I am going for lapidary "rough" I pick out the really nice ones. There are always more than I can afford so there are plenty to go around. I'll pass on the wholesale price.
