My 31 wedding anniversary is this weekend and I thought I would show you the neckless I had made for my boss(aka wife). It is a 5 carat star sapphire that I found at the Mason mine in N.C. a few years back. I had it mounted in white gold. It does not show up very well in the picture but it has a nice star. Keith

Congrats on the Anni! I'm sure the 'boss' is gonna love it! It would be nice to see a close up, but from what I can tell it looks very nice!

Keith...5 carat star sappire, whew! that looks pretty spectacular...if your camera has a Macro setting, try it fror a closeup. It is hard to tell what coloor that stone and setting are...but my wife thinks I'm colorblind so it could be me.

Keith, try taking the picture on a different backdrop, especially something like a soft blue. White backdrops make for a challenge with cameras' focusing capabilities because the white is reflecting back too much light.
I really would like to see that sapphire. We found about a dozen or so when we were in NC in May and I don't quite know what to do with them.

Yep... Looks like a nice pendant but a close up would be great. Dan
