I ran these last week on the vibe. flat lap. Most turned out, a couple did not. I run these on a bull wheel with a 60 grit pad and ya think it's nice and flat, till you go through 220 and 500 grit on the vibe. Then you can really see where the rock is beveled. These I am about to show you turned out really well with a very good shine although the damn shine doesn't show well in the pictures. It has not been my week, heck it hasn't even been my month for that matter. Randy gave me the red rock in the back ground, it turned out good also, Randy also gave me the brown rock on the right,

Well, Iguess it's true when they say: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" because that last rock is just beautiful. Where can "junk" like that be found?

I got that last chunk a couple years ago, it's been sitting in the bottom of the aquarium for the last year and a half so I really forget what it is called. How about "multi colored Junk" Oh Slydog, not as much fun as a burnout, the rocks took to long to get gratification.

Like 'em all but the aquarium rock is a knock out! Your Junk yard is growing. ~And what's wrong with slow motion gratification???!!

Beautiful! I like that duck that swims on the lake into the moonlight (2nd pic, left). The last rock is so interesting, is seems to be made of two bonded different rocks!

That "multi colored junk" is interesting. What are the odds of two very distinct rocks being banded together? I have a rock similar the right one in the second pic. Got it in a box from ebay. Mine seems to have some sort of fossil looking stuff in the white part though.

That doesn't look like junk to me. That last one is particularly non-junky ;D. Some nice Brazilians in there too. -Don
