I got my FRB from Jamie, too. With all the RTH Super Generosity that's been coming my way, pretty soon people won't be able to say you can't find rocks in Florida. I am really building my rock pile now! Thank you so much, Jamie! Here's what was in my FRB: And because Jamie was so generous towards me, I decided I would share some of the rocks she sent with my hubby. Here's what Bob got to pick out of the box: ;D Thank you, Jamie. Your generosity has truly touched our hearts! Lady B

Wow! You got a great haul too, Kate. We're lucky to be the recipients of such beautiful rocks. Have you guys got your cabbing machine yet? I know you cant wait to get started. We are slowly getting the parts for ours. Hubby is building one. We now have enough of the parts for him to start putting it together. I plan to take pictures of the progress. Have fun with your rocks. We want lots of pics. ~~Mitzi~~

Contacted the company about our cabber...it is supposedly going to reach us sometime this week (Argle-Bargle Grrrr!!!). That's the same thing he said a week ago. In the meantime we are having fun sorting the rocks we have been receiving and buying into piles...saw pile, tumble pile, cab pile, "Mine" pile. It's so much fun having a hobby I can share with my hubby.
[No, Bob, that one goes in the "Mine. All Mine" pile. Your pile is over there--it's the one with the six stones in it. ;D]

Bob is a member of RTH and he can speak for himself. [He just doesn't have as much to say as I do. But then does any man ever get to/want to out-talk his wife? ] (Touch one more stone in the "Mine" pile, Bob and you're...) Actually, Bob is selecting the pieces he wants to cab and polish, and he is very good at palming "Mine" stones when I am not looking! ;D Lady B

Pleased to hear Bobs getting a look in, and hope your cabber turns up soon - what did you go for? I'm looking at machines, but I'm not sure exactly what I want, and there's virtually no UK sources, so postage / shipping is crazy money. Will probably hold back unitl the budget covers a few of the bits, I'm watching, would love a facet machine too, and a modest slab saw, problably a bigger tumbler - uk ones are dinky, ... better think about hiring a container on one of those monster ships I think Stick an extra rock on Bobs pile, I feel should have double figures at least!! And I liked the rhodonite, last batch I ran came up a treat, hope he's got that one on his cabbing pile - it was such a great material. Cheers Harry.
