Howdy, I'd mentioned in the Dryhead thread that I stupidly left behind tons of great agate because I was intent on hunting the perfect Dryheads and mainly ignored the huge amount of material on the bulldozer waste piles. Ok it was dirty and I didn't have much water but that's no excuse. Just stupid stupid stupid!!!! *pounding my head on my desk*. Anyway, pics of the two I did save cleaned up. This ones a half nodule and these were huge, many well over six inches in diameter and piles of them too *sniff* Doesn't show the pattern too well. Kinda lacey, plumey stuff with fortifications and lots of druze and little orb clusters. I'll try to cut it when I get my saw up again. This ones a broken hunk of a couple of pounds or so and shows the pattern much better. Really like this stuff now that I can't get more of course *L*.

Gee Mel, you left agate laying in the dirt? Already bulldozed up? In a pile?
Slowly reach over and get the phone. Now dial 911.

Thats beautiful stuff Mel. If it's any consolation you can consider it as "stones left for the next person". The lucky sob's~~

Edog: Just now I got these from my rock pile in my yard *S* but I originally dug these and the other Dryhead Agates myself at the fee dig in the Pryor Mountains of southern Montana probably 25 years ago.....Mel

Kinda like not buying the MHPJ at the Snyder swap from the ladies from Morgan Hill, even though it was selling for a third of everyone else, but it wasn't cleaned up?
