Huffstuff, Love the snail. LadyB, better get to cutting, I see no rain! Tony, I think Tabson's blue thing is a slow cooker. Must be making pet wood! john

Looks Tabson has got a vibe lap in the lower right corner, a big one too! I dig that saw man. Oh, got to have close ups of the material above your tumblers Tabson!

After enjoying looking photos of all of your workshops it is fair to post recent pics (after building the grinders) of mine and my friend's workshop. He is also a member of this forum, but he is only lurking - for now. I know it is messy, but, as a matter of fact, we cleaned a bit since we had a visitor. So, I said, let's take the photos because we are not going to have this clean workshop in near future. ;D This photo was taken earlier, but we still have that tile saw, and still working properly. As you can see we need to build one big slab saw. I hope soon. My hands are hurting. Zoran

Wow Zotika, it's great to see where all those beautiful cabs come from. I like your setup. Looks like you got everything covered there. Are you going to build a big saw? Is that what I'm hearing? That would be neat to see. I hope your lurking friend comes forward! Lurking friend of Zot, where are you? Huffstuff, I hope you enjoy the neatness and simplicity of your setup now because in no time you will end up like Zot and many others here. It's only a matter of time. I think others look at your setup and think "wow, cleaning up that would be a breaze. Sure beats having to set aside an afternoon, ruin some clothes and go through 4 rolls paper towells just to change the oil in your saws and clean out the gunk in the grinders." Not to mention you have the best fung-shuei of anyone here so far. By the way Huffstuff, your avitar cracks me up ;D! I seriously bust up every time I see that snail. I can't help it. That snail always puts a smile on my face Steve

Thanks, Steve Glad my snail makes you smile. ;D If I ever find another, I'll pick it up for a RTH contest prize. I'll try to stop drooling over everyone else's setups. But I sure do miss having a basement.... Amy

That tire tumbler is cool; who came up with the idea and how does it work?

Jamie, that's a dream shop, tons of equipment. What's the big red jackhammery lookin' thingy?

The idea for tire tumblers has been around for a long time. I got the idea from a book that was published in the fifties. It is simply some rollers with a gearmotor that spins the tire at around 8 rpms. It will handle three 33 inch tires which together will hold well over 100 lb. at a time. It is very simple yet very effective. Rodney

Tonyterner, That big red jack hammery looking thing is just that. We use it on occasion when the rocks don't cooperate. Rodney
