Each time you showed a rock it was my favorite, so basically I can't pick a favorite!
Those garnets are honkingly HUGE and look quite facetworthy! the charoite is amazing and the labradorite is beautiful. the Citrine takes the cake and would make an amazing faceted piece of incredible size too!
The hungarian amethyst that you posted a pic of individually looks a lot like lepidolite (looks like a gumdrop)- the other amethyst look more like what I know is amethyst

Amazing goodies. Lucky, lucky you! All are so beautiful but I think I like the Labradorite and the Citrines the best. Can't wait to see what you do with all of these beauties.
And the two young ladies in the first pic...they are the best gems of all!

I think the 2 in the first pic are the best. Just because I have 2 girls it does not mean I am biased.
BTW the rocks are nice also ;D.......MrP

You bought some great material, it all looks real good. I'm impressed with your Labradorite, it has a great flash.

Z... First of all...the real gems are of course your daughters. Now for the goodies...you did bring home some nice quality material. You'll make some gorgeous jewelry out of them. I noticed you also brought home the knife. That is sooo cool. I noticed the picture of it in the other thread. I guess you couldn't resist. What is the carving made from? and is it Malachite? Thanks for sharing the show with us. Steve

That's a fine haul. Looks like you took great advantage of all that show had to officer. The rose obsidian is amazing and those two blocks of charoite made me weep. The garnets are gorgeous, too. And the citrine! Wow!
Fact is, all that stuff will be even more beautiful when you are finished.

Having your daughters in the pic titled " my treasures" did not go unnoticed. You have a wonderful family! As far as your loot, you scored well. My favorite is the Charoite. I have been told that it is hard to polish. If you have trouble, try diamond paste on wood. Thanks for all the pics. Daniel
