I picked up a few new things thurs am. A nice little hunk of polkadot jasper. This is different from my others. Has a pretty butterscotch color running through. A nice slab of a budeye ryolite from Mexico. Pretty pet wood from Vantage Washington area. The grey has a blue tone in it. I don't know what this is. About half size of a dollar bill...but it has these really cool flames that jumped out. Next 2 are the same piece...just different sides. Will post more later...but I gotta go to the ID section to see if anyone can help with ID'ing another batch of rocks!

Man, that last one is a very unusual hunk of plume. Never seen anything quite like it. Some of the Mexican dealers are now selling that rhyolite under the trade name " Flor de Chihuahua" which I think is kind of a nice name...Mel

Those are fantastic Lizard, I love the ryolite, that's great looking stuff, it's a bit like a turtle shell with all those blobby buds. The Polkadot Jasper is an incredible colour, does it come in many more shades? The yellow is really bright, very nice. And the flaming rock is just amazing, make sure you keep it away from the pet wood hey?! lol Thanks for posting the photos, they are always apreciated, especially when they are as fine as those Cheers, Harry.

T...what does any of us do with our rocks? We look at em! haha! Truthfully...maybe one day a revelation will hit & I'll know what to do. Harry...most polka dot is assorted colors. Mostly white & browns & shades in between, so this hunk is just more saturated with the golds & browns. There's also one called Blue Ice that has a beautiful blue chalcedony color instead of traditional white. I'll see if I can find a pic. Found some! These 2 pics are of the same hunk. This is the blue ice. here are cabs from the blue ice chunk.
