Very professional set up!
I started "burning silver" and before I had a chance to get my feet wet my wife asked me to make a sterling silver bracelet for our youngest daughter for her birthday this month.
A silversmith could probably have knocked it out in an hour or two but I started on it last month and have worked on it almost daily and still can't see the light at the end of the tunnel!
I can't seem to explain to my wife that what she has asked me to do is in comparison to asking a house painter to repaint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel,,,,,,With a roller!!!!!!!
The bracelet also has quite a few "frequent flier miles" on it from being tossed around the room in frustration!
I'm at the plate in the bottom of the 9th with a full count, bases loaded, 2 outs and the score is tied,,,,,,
One way or the other the bracelet gets a "Grand Slam"!!
Good Luck "burning silver" ;D

HaHa...........I know what you mean. I am still working on the first inlay project I ever started. It is an obsidian cross. Started out with malachite inlay, progressed to opal inlay and now the opal has been removed and replaced twice It has become sort of the workroom albatross. This has been going on for about a year or so. Hmmmm it might look good with a silver cap and bail ;D My girlfriend has talked me into several projects which have been a little late for birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries etc. Good luck on the bracelet. That grand slam is always best when it comes just under the wire........Bob
