Not surprised about the matte finish on the Tiffany Stone. It has pretty patterns and colors but can be a booger to polish. Am surprised about the Rocky Butte though, it usually does pretty well. Really like the Mook and Imperial in the last pic. Gorgeous stuff!...Mel

That is some mighty fine juck there Earth. The green looks like Green Tree to me. That piece of Imperial is Outstanding. Nice eye in that fourth pic. Daniel

Edog: I'm with Daniel on the green tree agate. Your example matches it even to the soft vugs which melt away . I think they're calcite , that's why they're softer. I have a bunch of that in my rockpile. The rocky butte is the picture jasper up top with the Tiffany. Lower right in the last pic looks like spiderweb imperial jasper ...Mel

the top two pieces are the Rocky Butte, are the others - Exotica jasper or Tiffany? I tumbled some exotica jasper and got a matte finish, someone recommended as different polish, which I don't recall. They are still sitting in plastic bowl... waiting for something, maybe inspiration on my part LOL

Hmmm...must write down spiderweb Imperial for my next splurge... As always Edog - you make junk look great!

Nice junk edog. The two greens and the red/pink you asked about in the last pic look like snow scenes, maybe you could call the red one "Fargo"

Very nice tumbles, I like the triangle with a round "eye" in the fourth pic, and also the white + green stuff.

those look cool E!
I know it doesn't shine...but the tiffany is still really pretty. I have some pieces I've used in my necklaces and girls still love it for the soft purple/pink colors.
Hey guys, am I crazy to think this? Love Imperial. Love Spiderweb. I seem to have seen some rough lately that sorta have both looks going on in them. I'll see if I can find a pic.

New camera? Takila said I have to stop buying stuff on ebay and stop talking about buying stuff for the Harley first before I can even think about a new camera. With that said maybe I should look for a new camera on, ebay...

Nice junk E-dog, especially the last pic stuff. I guess mine should look that good now that I just ordered 10lbs of each stage grit from the Rockshed! Just waiting for it to arrive. Have you found a camera yet? LOL Steve
