Well, for me anyhow. This is my first attempt at windchimes, I made this one for Harlie. They sound cool, now all I have to do is build a shelf for her rotating fan to sit on....... Here's her shelf that I built about two months ago.....

Randy, They look good!...no GREAT! I'm sure harley loves them, and I love her display shelf. My youngest does the same thing. I walk into her room, and I see new ones that she adds every now and then. It makes me happy she shows some interest in her crazy Dad! I want to make some chimes too...just haven't gotten around to it yet. Thanks for sharing. Steve

Randy - You pump out pendants by the thousands, and all she gets is five little dingers? Nice job. Rich

Those pendants are four inches long, I'm going to try a mix of four and five inches next.

Very nice! Try making them unequal (some shorter, some longer), so their sound will be different hopefully.
I like the shelf and - of course - the nice wood right near the clock.

That pice of wood was a gift from board member "textiger". It still looks exactly like a dry piece of wood on the outside.

Very cool - I bet they have a nice sound to them. Will be interesting to see how varying the length on the next set changes the sound. Harlie's got a nice little collection going there - I'm guessing there's a bearded dragon lurking around there someplace guarding those...?

Very neat idea! Not the typical rock slice windchimes that you see around. I love how it looks! And I bet it sounds really nice.............
Just a suggestion............you may want to try fishing line instead of string or thread next time........a lot more durable and almost invisible!
