Hi all! This is my third batch, and although I am far from the perfect batches I've seen here, I am quite pleased with it compared to my previous two ones. I increased the time for each stage (4 stages) at about two weeks each. My stages are 90, 220, 800 and cerium oxide. I know the gap between 220 and 800 is quite big, so I better leave them even longer in 220 to allow the grit to become finer. The whole batch: The second row is pet wood And some close-ups: Thank you for looking. Adrian

Great batch Adrian! That top round one in the first pic looks like some jasper that I've found here in Texas.

Nice Stuff you got their- Just a few thoughts- the jump from 220 to 800 is pretty big- but not as big as the jump from 800 to polish!!! I would work in a pre polish- of else go longer on the 800 cycle- Just a thought

Adrian: Nice looking batch. I like that spotted one on the top left. I'm with stefan. Think if you add a pre polish between the 800 and polish, you'd make those stones gleam.....Mel

Big jump between 800 and polish??? Then what about Don's recipe, 500 then polish? And he seems to be one of the best in tumbling!
