Very nice and original shapes! I like very much the nails, the hook, the cross, the teardrop pendant and the triangle.

John, I really like what you've ended up with there. The cross and the nails look great and hold great personal symbolism for me. Are you vibe tumbling and polishing these or are you using a rotary?

Nice stuff John! I too really like those nails....and that hook is really great. I'm gonna havet to try to do one of those and hang it for my Dad on his headstone. Thanks for sharing. Steve

They're all neat, but I'm really amazed at the range of color in the mozarkite. I shouldn't be, I have some now! I also really like the mahogany obsidian. I'm looking forward to tumbling some shapes myself!

Thank you one and all! Mike, The first couple nails I did completely on a cabbing machine and of course had hard edges and I liked that, but these I cut on the WF, shaped on a 100 grit SC wheel and then tumbled. Not too long in the 60/90 maybe a week or 10 days. They hold special meaning to me too. We are to have a booth at a fair in a few weeks but I keep giving them away!! Oh well, Better to give! Right!! john

Hey John I really like the nails! The fish hook is neat also. Would make a nice wrap for a fisherman.

Ahh, Grasshopper tonyterner! That would be a question for Condor.
Actually it is in honor of Lady B and Huffstuff. Huff has dubbed me the Mozarkite Man and Lady B keeps changing hers, so I did not want to become "stuck in stone" so to speak! john

Nice rocks Sir! You sure shined them up lovely! I particularly like the fish hook as commented - it reminds me of those Maouri tattoos I've seen. Very smart work! Thanks for sharing them.
Cheers,
Harry.

Cool batch, John, especially with the great shape on the hook. The obsidian stood up well tumbled with the harder stuff . . . surprising.

Thanks again evryone! The fish hook was a copy of something posted here a couple months back and I have a couple more in the spin cycle. Rich, The obsidian was from another batch and just went into the last to stages. The whole batch was a rush job. I drilled holes in most of that stuff already and tied them on adjustable cords. john
