Folks here are a couple of jewelry projects I have made. The first is hardly an original design. It was ordered by a long time customer who wanted an opal pendant set.She dicatated the style and the opal and to put it in sterling silver......insisting on opal from the Olympic field.Well knowing her well enough and explained in no uncertain terms what the cost to her would be.I did not buy the top grade Olympic opal and I doubted she could tell the difference.Long story short, she backed out after I had finished and never even came to look at it Earring other Next is a ring I did last weekend.I am not a fan of tuquoise, but I do have slices and odds of it and wanted to dispose of some of it.So I came up with this idea.Have not really decided what is going in the 2 sides yet, thinking about tiger eye.

That opal set is great. Great idea on the turqouise. Hopefully that customer gave a non refundable deposit.

Thanks for your comments and all the PMs on the opal set.Nope I never ask for a deposit, don't believe in it,I feel most people are true to thier word.I feel I will sell or trade it later any way.It goes without saying that if she makes another request of me she will have some money up front . I have been burned a few times but I prefer to trust people. Brad

Nice work on the opal set. That tourquiose is some weird looking stuff. Some nice pin fire agate would look good on the sides.

The opal set is really pretty. Shame about the customer though. I hate to feel jerked around. I'm on the fence on the turq ring. Can't decide if I like it or not. Please post a pic when its done.

Those opals are lovely, I'm sorry she backed out but it's definitely her loss.
