I redid this RSJ; I was not happy with the first try First try redo some others (not RSJ) I may have posted one of these before I tried a different photo method. Same camera. I tried to use a stone with a rough uneven surface to help the camera focus on the cabs. Let me know if you think the pictures are better than my past posts. Thanx for looking

I don't remember the previous photos of yours, but these ones are great and reveal some beautiful cabs. I like mostly the middle one in the first pic, with its rough border, and the one in the 4th pic, which also resembles with a landcape. The last one is also great.

Good change, Larry. RSJ v2.0 is a nicer shape. Pics look good. What's the stone in the last two?

Rich.. all the rest are Amazon valley. The last two are from the same slab. The middle two are from another nodule and are from the same slab. The material varries greatly from nodule to nodule. Many are kinda bland; some shades of brown with little pattens, but some have neat patterns, colors and I have found a few scenic. It is a hard matterial that takes a great polish. The middle two that look more scenic are only polished to 3000 the bottom two are upto 14,000. In person you can see a big difference, but online they look almost the same. I am going to keep experimenting till I can capture the difference. I see an improvement with the rough background; now I think I will have to experiment with the camera(s).

Larry, I definitly like the redo on the RSJ, you really improved the shape. Your photos are MUCH MUCH better. I can now see the details in the stones. Taking pics of such small things is a real challenge.

Those are very nice Larry. The RSJ is sweet and I am a big fan of Amazon Valley. Thanks for sharing. Daniel
