This past Sunday I got to use my saw for the first time in over a month. Below are the slabs I cut. I've found, like with most things, the more you do something the more efficient you get. I cut all of these and a couple of other cuts in less than 1 hour. All the slabs. Picture jasper (type unknown) Another type of unknown picture jasper, this one came off the saw nicely polished. Slice of a choya Pretty piece of mookite Mt. Murray moss agate Spiderweb (chrysanthemum) jasper Ilikeitbutdontknowwhatitisite My favorite, pet bog And one I didn't cut, Missouri agate Now off to make cabs of them.

The spider web is awesome, but it seems you have to work a lot if you want to polish it, that cut is "a litle" out-of-plan.

Tweety, yes its the same and I'm not very good as you can see by the pics. Adrian noticed my poor cutting technique.

Tweety, yes its the same and I'm not very good as you can see by the pics. Adrian noticed my poor cutting technique. Don't worry, you can use that as the domed side - you should see my "slobs" (yeah I meant to say that) they are pathetic! I'm in awe anyways!

That "spiderweb" reminds me of flowerstone, except it's brown instead of blue/green/grey with white starbursts, make sure to post some finished pieces of that.

Hi Tony, nice slabs! The second pic looks like Palomino Picture Stone. It is softer than a jasper however it is close grained and cabs up well. The Ilikeitbutdontknowhatitisite, lol looks like Tigertail Jasper to me. Looking forward to seeing cabs of your slabs. Daniel

Thanks tweety, stonesnbones and firewalker for straightening me out on the names. I think I get them wrong more than I get the right. ;D

Gorgeous! I really love the mookite (who knew one rock could have all those colors, especially that deep burgundy/red!) and the spiderweb star jasper!
