A while back I did some trading with Curt(Texaswoodie). He sent me a bunch of his Texas Pet Woods and Jaspers. I have done the wood with great results, so now it was time to try the jasper. They are a rainbow mix of reds, yellows, oranges and a bit of green, some with a light or dark spiderweb patterns. They rolled for about 6 weeks in course, 2 weeks in fine, 1 week in pre-polish and about 2 weeks in polish. There are still a few pits in some, and I will probably touch them up with the dremel tool and run them back through polish again to get them perfect. It was hard to be patient, but the end result was worth it - they really turned out great and took a good shine. Take a look! Thanks Curt for some cool material!! Thanks for looking! Dave

Don't listen to Curt, Dave. He has tried that switch routine before with some Pet Palm/Snake Wood. Keep those amazing beauties for yourself. ;D
That shine is incredible!!!! Your patience paid off big time!

Thanks for the compliments everyone! They are probably the best batch I have ever done. I will admit that I buffed them out with a soft cotton cloth before I snapped the pics to get them to glow. Can't wait to try another batch!! ;D Adrian - Those two are my favorites also. At first, I thought they were Pet Woods that got mixed in by accident, but they are the same Jaspers with a really neat flake pattern! Curt - I really hope it was the right box! ;D This stuff is fantastic! I think the next batch I will try to slice and shape a few before I tumble them - maybe a few bench grinder cabs! Some of the patterns almost resemble Moss Agates or Plumes.
