Over the weekend I had some time to finish up some geodes that I shape polish and drill for the beaders. This one came out real nice. I am doing a name the cab contest with this one; as it is not mine I am offering up something else for the prize. side view This is a wampum pendant. I decided to go the the back side because it looked like a heavy wool fabric. It is totally smooth.

Hey Larry two very cool cabs. That one with the pattern is bizzare. The geode is definitely one of the nicer ones you've done.

Very nice cabs Larry. The druzy drop is very cool and that cabbed sea shell is really sweet, love the pattern in that one... But Holy Cow!! ..the stone that they are sitting on is just alive with color!! What the heck is that thing? Dan

Dan.. they are sitting on a display piece of ammolite. By display I mean one that is not quite jewley grade, but make great pieces to put out for conversation pieces. Any conversations with Pangea in it always grabs my attention ;D. Along with the beauty of the stones I really like the history. Here is a freeform natural from my horde.
