Nice batch Jack! My beach rocks usually spend 9 days in 120/220 before another week of prepolishing and a week and change to polish in the rotary.

Great stuff Jack! An excellent assortment of colours, too. A friend of mine sent me some beach-worn pebbles of hydrogrossular garnet recently, so I'll be interested to see how long they take to polish in a vibe. One of the down sides to the rotarys is the length of time it takes.... I sometimes forget where some of the rocks are from by the time they are finished.

Jack, Very nice and so quickly. Is a vibe kind of like dialup on your computer, once you go to high speed you never go back? Do you still use a rotary? Thank's for sharing.

Great batch Jack! That green one looks exactly like a pine forest here in E Texas. I can't believe my eyes, it's so perfect. It even has the blue sky in the background.

Oh, I love these! The shapes! The colors! The shine! Yes, these are wonderful. And your green unidentified rock is absoultely beautiful--whatever it might turn out to be. I agree with Curt--it does look like a beautiful forest scene in that orientation! How Neat!!!

Hi All
Thanks for your replies .
Its amazing what people see I just love all the shapes and colours ,
Ed M, Yes I do still use a rotary as most people do in the first stage 80 Grit.
I slipped up as a few would have benifitted from a week in the rotary, but still the finish is not to bad
Thanks
