My favorite things from the trip .............. The scenery, the fellowship, rocklickers wire wrapping lessons, Sand's New Jersey draw, seeing Ed (Stoner) again, seeing Catmans trailer stuffed full with at least 1000 lbs of rock, Snowdogs face of pure joy giving away some of his slabs, rockhunting with Roxy, Rocklicker, Stoner & friend from Canada, down in the river bed, the taste of the pork loins that Jamie cooked, looking up at the stars and the comet with Pup and Stoner. I have more but those are my Favs!! By the way, Jasper was a hit! He behaved most of the time and Sands most graciously offered to watch him while I was down in the river bed. It was to hot to put Jasper in the front pack I have for him.

Thanks for the pics Sheri! It looks like an awesome bunch of friends there...and I sure wish I could have made it. It really brings a soft swell in my heart, seeing all the friendships that have been made here on the RTH. I can't wait to see more pics....pics of friends, rocks, scenery, goodies, boxes of flat raters, and the cabbing machine at work. This made my Sunday evening. Thanks, Steve

Looking at those pics, I almost felt like there, being in your group, watching Ed cabbing, smelling that BBQ... You not only had a great time, but brought joy to us the ones who couldn't get there.

Dang that looks like a fun time. That piece that stoner found is really sweet. Its fun to compare the image you have in your head of people and then see pics of them. I imagined most of you younger, but then I'm younger than most of you so maybe that's why. LOL

Hey Sheri it was great to meetcha! Oh man whatta blast!! I know a few of them are still down there this evening and I wish I was still among them. Sigh.. Yeah Mel I couldn't believe they had satellite tv set up! LOL Apparently 'they' changed the 'numbers' on John and it only lasted a few hours. He was talking of driving up to the top of the canyon to get a cell signal and calling to get new numbers. For all I know they're sitting there watching HBO as I type this LOL Mark your ears musta been burning from across the pond as we were talkin' boutcha. You're definitely expected at next year's trip! Oh.. and I vaguely remember Sands sayin' not to post the chef's hat pic. Sheri might have some 'splainin' to do! LOL
