I got to finish up some more RSJ. These first three are from the same nodule. I tend to see all kinds of stuff when I cab so in this I saw bats. Since the denrites weren't well formed, tiny and floating in space; they had to be something. I remembered a film of millions of bats flying out of a cave when I was looking at the mini slabs. So I turn it this way and that and well bats it is. I show them in order of the way they were slabbed. This last one was from an earlier nodule that had the big well formed dendrites. It was also the only nodule so far that had pits.

Yep...bats were the first thing I saw when I looked at that first photo. I especially like the patterns in the 2nd one. Good job!

I see bats and a stairway (covered in bats or rats? no offense intended) in the second. Just amazing. Try putting these up for sale in San Antonio. They have a bridge that is famous for the huge numbers of bats that fly out from under it each night. Tourists go there to see the mass exodus.
Thanks for sharing!

Those are very nice...and each one with it's own uniqueness. I see bats in the 2nd one, and the 1st one I see a Mummies Eye as he's just awakening from the dead. Very cool indeed. Steve
