I got these out of A.O. polish today. They have been rolling for 6 days in polish with my homemade tumbler and a 6# barrel. The speed of that tumbler is around 60rpm. Wood, Something cool looking, Montana agates, Brazilians, Now this next few are from a barrel I got from my friend Pete, he had this 12# barrel sitting in the basement of his shop for 15 years. When Snowdog, Pete, Takila and I opened up the barrel the slurry was pretty hard and if my memory serves me right it was frozen since it was this last winter when we opened the barrel. Some old guy had been tumbling these in rough grit and something happened to him. Pete bought all his stuff from his wife. So I went ahead and finished his tumble for him, a few years later... These are paper thin also. I'm surprised they didn't break.

Sweet Montanas and pet woods. The banding on the dryheads looks sensational.
Thanks for sharing, mate.

I like most the three small woods, the "cool looking" one above the coin in the 2nd pic and the Montanas.
It would be great to see your home-made tumbler. Would you please share it with us?

If I die in an untimely fashion, all I ask from you folks is make sure someone gets all my rocks through to polish. I'm not sure if my soul could ever leave this world with an unfinished batch so I just wanna be on the safe side.

I'm not gonna compete for your rocks, will them to me or someone will just throw them outside in another rock pile where they will sit for another few thousand years. I am the only one that will take proper care of them and you know it.
