i need your help. i want to post this pics to sell some of my slabs but i need to know if they look good enough and i know you will give me an honest opinion. picture jasper Can you tell me what this is? Turtella another id please crazy lace Some purple chirolite crazy lace turquoise dendridtic opal from turkey varasite blue lace agate malacite my first necklace i made, turquoise and coral second one i made ty for looking and helping me. I guess i should know what they all are before i try to sell them lol

I don't know much but those are some awesome pics.. I love that necklace !! That's what I wanna do with my rocks too.. .. but my favorites have to be those purples.. those are sweet.. wish I could help on the names but I ain't even that far into rocks yet.. but Good luck i'm sure there's so many rock veterans on here you're bound to find out.. *smiles* ;D but I just had to peek and post..

Well, the pics that aren't blurry are nice Maryann. The slab above the Charoite looks like some kind of lace agate, not pic jasper. You shouldn't have any problems selling these. Nice job on the necklaces too.

Yes, I can tell you what those are. A really awesome score and an eye candy overload! The pics that are in good sharp focus look really great! If I were selling the slabs I might include discrete B/W color references in the frames as well just to make it easier to white ballance the photo if necessary and to show the subject is being portrayed as naturally and faithfully as possible in the lighting conditions that the shot was taken in to alleviate any concerns a more picky buyer may have, but that's just me. I know I did some shots like this when I had to use fluorescent lights, let me dig a couple up... An in-frame B/W reference also helps account for the differences in how various monitors render colors which plays in your favour should a buyer attempt to day you misrepresented the slabs by doctoring the photos or something I guess.
