I went out today and took some pics of some of the stuff I hauled back from Arizona. I apologize to the dial up users, even though I did resize them to medium. The pile where I unloaded my trailer. Most of this bucket came from Jamie and Rodney's back yard or from the agate pile at the rock shop. A closeup of a large chunk of Jasper I bought at the rock shop. Looks an awful lot like Stone Canyon. Took 3 of us to load it in the back. All the big boulders that were in the back of my pickup. I put a 5 gallon bucket there for size comparison. Some closeups of the biguns This one looks like Jasper on one side, the other side looks like agate, can't wait to cut it to see whats inside! One of the biguns loaded up in the bigun saw. Makes me want to head back there already...................Tony

I think this haul only exceeds all that I own regarding rocks.

So when you going to cut up the stone canyon look-a-like? Did you find the big brother to the one I found? I'm still waiting for one more box to get here, then I'll take pics of my mini haul. Think those will hold you for another year?

*whistle* that's one heck of a saw.... I was oohing and ahhing at all the rocks till I got to that saw...that blade looks to be about the size of a truck tire. (ok so maybe slight exaggeration there - but not by much!) I think I have saw envy.

Wow...just wow. Where does one even decide to start with that much stuff to choose from and that HUGE saw to cut them with?

That's an amazing pile Tony! Man, you don't mess around when it comes to rocks. Great haul. So did the trailer flip up when you were unloading it? ;D Oh, and any more scorpions? I remember trying to load that Stone Canyon monster. Glad it made it to its new home. BTW, I tossed some extra rocks in your trailer on the way out. There's an agate with a red outside from near the dead cow area (actually, it came from right next to the dead cow, so dont lick it even though I washed it off a bit). I cut a similar one with a reddish skin and it turned out to be real nice inside! I hope it turns out nice and you enjoy it. That big ol blue guy in your saw looks incredible too! It looks like a cloudy sky. Looking at that saw I see why you picked up the big ones. Gotta keep that monster fed ;D Steve

Holy cow Tony! You must be a lifetime subscriber to "Big'uns Rock Magazine". Those are enormous and look darn solid too. Makes my back hurt just thinking about lugging those around. Please make sure to post some pics when you slab them. I'm always curious about what lies inside monsters like those!....mel

Whoa! I just noticed on googlemap where Idaho just sank by a few inches while Arizona went up a few. Nice haul.

Hey Tony -- the Chrysacola looks very cool. Some of the larger chunks are amazing. I hope I have a change to go to AZ some day.
I will start working on getting a trip to Yellow Cat, UT.
I'll keep you posted.
Let me know how the cabbing goes!!!
