Ouch!! Good thing it is an easy fix. I lost the motor on my 16" saw last week and threw my replacement motor on and the replacement motor didn't even have close to enough power. So I robbed a motor off of my table saw in the shop, had to make a few modifications to the mounting system, but I like it much better. Its got enough gumption I can turn it off in the middle of a cut and restart it without backing the blade off. Nice, if the tone changes on the saw, so you can check whether anything loosened up or not.
Hope you get Mabel fixed soon......................Tony
