These are some pieces we did today. Love working with this rock. Heck... I like all rocks. John says our house looks like the Grand Canyon.... Cheryl

Ooh! Pretty! That Oaxaca Travertine/Dolomite is a favorite stone of mine too but be forewarned, If you sell those as pendants, the softness of the stones makes them get all scratched up and dulls their finish in no time at all. If you don't warn them about handling them very carefully, you can expect complaints from the folks you sell them to. Been there and done that *L*.....Mel

Hey Kev... Most of our pendants range from 1/8" to 1/4" thick. We try and do all sizes in lenth from 1/2" to 2 1/2". Those in the picture are 1 1/4" to 1 3/4" long. Depends on the material too.. Good idea about the quarter. Glad you like them... Thanks Cheryl

Saw your other pic too with the agate from Jamie - nice job on all the drilling. Any tips to share?

Hey Rich!!
We get our bits off a guy on ebay. 50 for $30.00 and that's S+H included. We use the 2mm and a dremel. I think the secret is drilling in empty cat food cans with water. LOL We try to recycle!!! John drills before he starts polishing. That way if it breaks out on the back side he can fix it when polishing. Hope that helps!!! Have a great day everyone!!!!
