I had a super nice Christmas! I recieved 2 wonderful boxes of rocks from fellow RTH'ers, a big nice sphere from a friend, 2 books that I've wanted for a very long time, and a 6' saw blade and some rough rock from superagates, and a new hammer! I was thrilled with the way Santa treated me this year. ;D The two books I recieved from the local rock shop in exchange for a nodule of Clay Canyon Variscite. I was so happy with the trade. I really love the Agate book, and what some incredible pictures. I haven't even began the Petrified Wood book, but cannot wait to dive into that one. I ordered some more rough from Mark, and can't wait to slice into some of the nodules. Just a few previews of some of the patterns that are seen on the face. Even though it snowed all night last night, I still had to go out and take some pictures of some of the material I recieved. Dryheads Laguna's My new hammer! I have been in desperate need for a new hammer for a very long time. Do you think it looks like I ever used the old one??? I hope everyone had a Very Merry Christmas! Steve

Santa got ya covered from every angle, Steve. The old hammer's still good for a few more decades!
That varascite nodule must've been quite a specimen!!
