went to a friends house tonight cause he and his kids are getting into rock tumbling. He opened an old coffee can that his dad sent him. His dad lives in Michigan. Inside was a bunch of rocks including this one. I am positive it is a laker. My friend would like some opinions on its quality and possible value. It weighs 44g. It is 1.75 inches at its longest and 1.25 at its widest. So guys tell me what ya think. Top view the rest are shots of the 3 sides. Thanks for any info.

It is most definitely a laker and a very nice one. Check out ebay, there's always lots of lakers on there, might give you an idea of what it's worth. It's got some really great banding and color in it too, very nice!!

I like that Laker too. I have Banded Agates in my blood... even worse now, since I got the Banded Agate book. Steve
