Greetings to all from the great state of Arizona!
I'm Leslie, 23, living in Yuma, Arizona with my husband, Ryan, and dog, Buster.
I hail, originally, from Atlanta, Georgia, but after college, ended up in Arizona for a brief time and then the Outerbanks of North Carolina for a little more than a year.
We're back in Yuma and I am loving it.
I'm a VERY amateur rockhound. However, one of my earliest happy memories is toting a paint bucket around collecting gravel and other rocks.
My family loves to tell the stories of how I loved rocks so much that I even slept with them in the bed...lol. My prized possession was my rock tumbler.
Going through college as a Poli Sci major didn't afford a lot of time for geological exploits, other than the mando Nat. Science course, but I am really looking forward to recapturing a bit of my younger years and passion now that I have a little more time on my hands.
Be prepared for lots of pictures and lots of questions.
It's great to meet y'all.

Hi there
It's nice to met you. You sound alot like me. When I was younger I wanted a rock tumbler for christmas. I did get it and wore it out. I have always loved to collect rocks and shells in my ventures around the country. It wasn't not too long ago I started getting back into it and got myself a BIG GIRL Lortone 33B tumbler. LOL! That lead to buying more rocks, buying all the equipment from a rock hound to buying another tumbler and more rocks! Oh, did I forget to mention buying more and more shells! LOL! It is alot of fun and I'm sure you will enjoy getting back into it. Kind of reconnecting with your spirit again. Good for you! Enjoy! How did you like living in the outer banks? I loved it there while I was on vacation. Loved the seafood and all those summer vacation homes on the beach!

Welcome, woman. You got a dog Buster, so do we, he is a big mean mutt, that guards our backyard from rock burglers and other undesireables. I don't have a picture of him but I always look for the chance to show my little baby, Lacy, a cute little Jack Russell terrier, Here she is ready for bed.
