My husband and I just got back from our first VERY major rockhounding trip to the northwest. We got lucky with garnets, fossil fish, trilobites, petrified wood, topaz crystals, sunstones, and only a tiny bit of opal. We are looking to connect with other rockhounders to exchange information. Looking forward to hear from you!

Welcome and Hi,
Sounds like a very successful trip to me - well worth a look. Trilobites are great - did you get any pictures? It's always cool to see fossils, they are rock too!!
Cheers,
Harry.

Welcome! I'm a little bit late with the welcome, but... that's my motto. Pix are ALWAYS good! Can't wait to see yours! I am personally stuck in 'Rockless, NE, USA' so I have to live vicariously thru all you folks with great trips and rocks. Karen PS: Go Huskers!

Welcome! Sounds like a great trip, but I bet you can find some cool stuff in the hills of North Georgia as well. Used to live in Marietta for years. Good luck on your hounding and welcome to the board. The people on this board are helpful and really nice. You'll like it.
