Hi everyone. I have been very intrested in rock tumbling for some time now but never tried it. Until one day last week I was lucky enough to find a 3-lb rock tumbler at a church yard sale. I couldnt believe it! A little old lady said her son got it for her but she really didnt want it so she sold it to me for only $1.00! Also it was brand new! WOW what luck! Well I have my very first batch in. I'm so excited to see how they turn out.

Welcome! I'm new, too, and have my first batch in a 3-lb tumbler at step 3. This place (RTH) is awesome. I wish I had a weekend or two to read everything at one time....
See you around on the boards. - Amy

Welcome Michele! What a great buy. Ask any questions, there are so many nice people here who like to help and with a lot of knowledge. Are you from Michigan? Daniel

Cool always nice having more Michiganders join. Curt is right about photobucket, and even I was able to get it Once your pics are in photobucket or the like, someone here can point you to how to post from PB to this site. We's love pics. lol Looking forward to seeing your pics from what you collected on Lake Michigan, I like to go to Rockport qurrey which is a little past Alpena. You can find Favosite and Bryozoa. How long have you been into rocks? Daniel

Tumbler for a buck! Excellent deal!!!!! Welcome to the board, we look forward to seeing your finished rocks. Good luck with the new tumbler, I hope your going to get some of those wonderful laker agates to polish up for us, it's always a pleasure to see stripey rocks. Cheers, Harry.
