Hi Jim. Welcome to RTH. This is a great place to be--full of great pix, helpful tips, shared experiences, and any/everything to do with rocks. When in doubt, post a question. There's bound to be someone here at RTH who can provide a reasonable ( or even an unreasonable, on occasion ) answer! And if you have any questions about contests here at RTH, just check in with me. I'm a bit of a contest freak. As a matter of fact, you can vote in one of my contests right now. And in about two weeks I'll be sponsoring two more contests! So get on down to the Competitions Board and check out the contests...there are three active ones today alone!!! ;D Lady B...

Welcome, Jim. I'm new to rock tumbling, and this forum is the best. Glad you found us.

Glad to have ya, Jim! I think I can safely say that most of us are still learning wonderful things. There is always something new and helpful here, and I have to admit that I have taken full advantage of that. I hope you do, also! Have fun!

Welcome home boy! This is a great group of people and I have learned a lot from them. I grew up in Jacksonville, NC. Not too many rocks there. I ended up in New Mexico many years later and am collecting enough to make up for lost time. Again, welcome.
