Hello - everyone. I joined the forum back in May, and have had great experiences with a lot of members from this forum. I have met some of you guys already. I had the chance to meet Tony Funk on his way back from the AZ infiltration trip. I have also been trading rocks with : Dessertdweler Agatemaggot Stonesthatrock harry And others just to name a few. I'm currently trying tumgling strategies to try to get an illusive "Perfect Batch" I got to tell you, it has been and uphill battle, but I'm still trying. I think my latest batch, which should be ready sometime in 2008 Anyhow, here is me and my family including my rockhounding partner Josh (my 6 year old son). Here is my family Here is me and my partner at Disneyland last year and here is a shot that shows me stressed out, and ready to for the hunt (rock hunt that is ;D) here are some of my rocks:

Howdy and welcome! What a nice looking family.
Looks like you've got plenty of rock to experiment with to get that "perfect batch."

Hi Amy --- thanks for saying hi. My illusive batch is actually getting better by the day. I have been pulling stuff out lately that is really pretty. I also bought a saw...not a pro saw, but one I've used to cut before I tumble and that is the key, I believe:) Anyhow. Let me know if you want to trade a box I have a lot of local Utah agates...including tons of pigeon blood agates. Ozzy

Welcome. You are lucky to live in a state full of both rocks and public land.

Thanks for saying hi.

Hi Rockwizz, What a nice looking family you have! It looks like you have some good rocks for tumbling too. I'm your neighbor down in Arizona. I've collected once in Utah many years ago & it sure is a beautiful state with lots of great rockhounding opportunities - you are a lucky guy! Welcome! Patti
