Got 7lbs of banded Chevron amethyst in the mail today...it's kinda pretty. Any advice? It'll be a week or so before it goes into a barrel as my mixed loads (Bruneau jasper, Botswana agate, Mexican Lace agate) are taking FOREVER! Susan

I've got a load that is getting ready to go into pre polish and I'm noticing no matter how many farking pellets I put in, I'm still getting chips in the rock. I don't understand it. I hope you are having better luck than me.

NMrocks: Boy, I agree with Xena. Real pretty material but real delicate. I also had lots of chipping problems especially with my larger 12 pound faceted barrel. Did a bit better in the smaller 3 pounder with lots of pellets.
