I hate to pick on them like this, but I have had zero percent results using their pre-packaged kit- the coarse and medium do the trick just fine, and the pre-polish seems to work OK as well, but the AO that they sell as "Polish" doesn't do much more than their pre-polish.
I would like to hear if anyone has had better results than I have, from other postings I'v eseen here I kind of doubt it.
AO from other suppliers I've been told can work, and Cerium oxide is a less expensive alternative than Tin Oxide, both of which are proven compounds that I now believe can do the trick, but I'm done even trying with the AO "polish" from Lortone

Boy that kind of AO poilsh sure sounds like some I got several years ago. Turns out it was a .5 micron tabular alumina polish. I absolutely could not get a polish with it in a rotary and at first had problems even in a vibe. I found though, that I was using too much polish per batch and it was just not breaking down in the vibe. I decreased the amount of polish to 1/3 tablespoon per pound and ran fairly wet for ten days and it produced mirror results. I haven't got around to trying in in the rotary for a long polish cycle with very little polish per pound. Just haven't wanted to waste the time as CO works so well for me but some time I'm gonna try it as an experiment because that polish was free! Guy threw in fifty pounds free when I bought a saw and some other stuff ....mel
