To give a little bit more shine on the mineral softer than 5 on the mohs scale, after the 1200 and the tin oxide on a leather belt, I add a stage with marble polish powder, a cheap industrial material which give a better shine on seraphinite, Lapis lazulirhodocrosite (with buffer), fluorite or paesina (don't hesit to heat this stone with the leather belt it gives more results even if it hurts sometimes ) and l abradorite too ( you need to start at 600 here ). It could be used too on Ruby on zoïsite As the last stage is really funny for me I've tried a lot oxide powder one by one following the material and this one give really good results. I hope it will be a good tip for you.

To find the marble powder, I don't know in your country. Probably on funeral workshop which build graves or in abrasive company which supplies this powder to polish the marble floor on mall or commercial center. As this latest use a lot of powder it explain the cheap cost. And for me it give really good results.

The jet give me lot of trouble to obtain something shiny. I used silicon jeweler wheels on mandrel but it's not really good. I keep the silver powder in my head. Thank you for this tip.
