Ok, google it and you'll find some say it's true, some say it's a hoax. I read it this morning in our local newspaper and while I don't believe everything I read, this only takes a minute. www.donotcall.govAccording to the article I read, Jan 1st, telemarketers can call cell phones. Registering your number keeps you on the list for 5 years. www.snopes.com/politics/business/cell411.aspSnopes says it's true but you don't have to register ... anyway, just thought I'd share it since I hate telemarketers calling me and DO NOT want them wasting my cell minutes. Up to you if you register or not. Cher

xena, read the first part of what snopes is saying ... the list is true, there is one being made. (you have the same link I put up) From Snopes ... # A consortium of wireless providers is planning to create a 411 (directory assistance) service for cell phone numbers: True.
There's still many pros and cons as to whether or not you should register your cell number.
