Shoot, I can only get one photo, the 'one last try' picture--that's the one you found? I never thought about finding rocks at rummage sales, but I'm betting that is kind of location- dependant, obviously you are in the right location! I'll be curious to learn what the rock is too-how thick is that rock? I'm getting pretty anxious already to be heading to SD in a little more than a month. I sure hope I can 'find' some of the areas talked about on this site. Whatever it is,that's a pretty cool rock---

The last photo is a 3x4 inch slabe 1/4 thick.Let me explain.I don't do rumage sales,This sale was in the local paper as rumage includeing a rock collection. I worked until 5pm .went to see if anything was left I bougth everything that was left.The husband had passed away, his wife sold everything I wish I could seen the good stuff that sold early. I will start selling or trading slabs asap
