A few pieces I picked up on my trip this last weekend- first 4 lbs of classic Yellowstone River rough that I got in a shop for $3.50/lb then another pound and a half of Gallatin range Hyalite opal/agates that were self-collected "Hyalite Opal" is typically found as a boytroidal glassy crust on rhyolite scree , but this was collected from a logging road that runs in the forest below where the hyalite is more commonly found. I don't know for sure- maybe this stuff is better termed as just a translucent chalcedony, should work up nicely though. (I'll update this when these get shiney)

Well it has been a while, and I'm afraid I sold a bunch without having taken pictures, but these all came from that rough in the first shots;
